Jeremy's Thoughts

I have a friend named Caleb. His misadventures are so epic you could write a movie based off of just one of them. He’s latest adventure brings him to Haiti. You see, Caleb was one of the many young men who answered the call of duty and joined the Army to help fight terrorism in Iraq. All Caleb wanted to do was kill terrorists in Iraq.

The Army, instead, made him a medic and he has been stationed in New York ever sense. He now hates the Army and wishes that he could just marry Taylor Swift and get drunk with his friends back home. (…and hope they won’t leave him to walk two miles at 4 o’clock in the morning to get a Taxi to bring him home after promising to be his wingman, but that’s a story for another time!) If you knew Caleb, you would know that it makes perfect sense for him to be stuck in New York.


So, when the massive earthquake occurred in Haiti, of course, Caleb would be ordered to assist. He packed a few things, and with his trusty Taylor Swift figurine, he was on his way. Luckily there are cell towers in Haiti and Caleb can communicate with us over facebook. What follows is an interesting story from Haiti told in simple status messages. Enjoy.
